PRODUCTION
Most projects begin with pre-production — songwriting, arranging, and rehearsing until the material is ready to record. Mike's involvement at this stage varies with each artist.
Recording starts with bed tracks — drums, bass, rhythm guitars, guide vocals — followed by overdubs for lead vocals, harmonies, and additional instrumentation. When sessions take place at Mike's personal studio, studio time may be included in the production fee.
ALBUM
A full-length album is typically 8–13 songs, taking 6–12 months from start to finish. Plan at least a year ahead.
EP PROJECT
An EP is typically 6–8 songs, 3–6 months end to end. Early planning helps allow time for creative development and scheduling.
1-2 SONG PROJECT
A single or two-song project typically takes 1–3 months, depending on scheduling and scope.

MIXING
Mixing services are available for projects that were recorded and produced independently of Mike. The standard mixing rate is $300 per song and includes professional balancing, processing, and preparation of your track for mastering.
For projects that Mike is producing, mixing rates are determined as part of the overall production package and may differ from the standalone mixing rate.
